Visitors to the garden are welcome during bloom season. In addition to daylilies our garden contains a combination of evergreens, dwarf conifers, heathers and lilacs.

Daylily plants from our daylily garden and nursery are grown on the coast of Maine. Low temperatures here can reach 20 degrees below zero Fahrenheit. Snow cover is variable from year to year. The Daylily plants for sale offered have performed consistently well in our garden. Daylily plants are bare root double fans unless otherwise noted. You can order on line and have them shipped to you or arrange a date to pick plants up.

The Daylily plants flower in good time with the bloom of many other excellent summer flowering plants such as Hydrangeas, Roses, Sedums and Lilium bulbs. Many people ask for bulb daylilies. There is no such plant. Daylilies are Hemerocallis. They are a perennial plant with wide grass like leaves that return each year from the root. Lilium bulbs are not related although some flowers may be appear similar. Asian, African and Oriental Lilies are Lilium bulbs. Because of the parallel bloom times Lilium bulbs are often planted with Daylilies. They are excellent companion plants. While Daylilies are only mildly fragrant, Oriental Liliums are strongly scented.
